Are You Ready to Get Obsessed?

As a new Beachbody Coach, I am excited, now more than ever, to be a part of the test group for 80 Day Obsession. I got the confirmation email today, see below, and added to the Facebook Group along with all the thousands of coaches. This is also my 2nd week to A Little Obsessed, to get my body ready for what’s to come.

I never thought I would get this excited about an exercise program, especially at 32. In the past, if I got into a kick, it lasted 3-6 months and I’d either get bored with it or get pregnant. Since the latter is no longer possible, I highly doubt I’ll end up getting bored. There are so many programs out there to try, at different levels, it’s ridiculous.

As you can see below, I got my challenge pack, excluding sliders since they forgot to send them, and my first bag of Shakeology. I’ve heard so many good and bad things about it, mostly price, but have been eager to try it out. I’ve tried different protein powders in the past that I will try to review what I’ve tried along with Shakeology.

I’ve already started planning my workouts for the rest of the year, after 80DO, to incorporate programs I’ve done before and maybe another round of 80DO. If everyone goes as planned, which in my case rarely happens, I may be able to hit my goal weight by my 33rd birthday in December. My overall goal is to be close to my goal weight by 35 so I have a few years. Seems doable right?

Newest Beachbody Coach!

After completing 2 programs, 3 if you include Clean Week, I decided to bite the bullet and sign up as a coach. This was a decision I didn’t take lightly. I’ve known about Beachbody for many years and went into other directions when it came to fitness and nutrition companies. I signed up for a few of them and although they did help me lose weight, they didn’t keep me entertained, as I sometimes have the attention span of a 4-year-old.

Even before I started working out, I was going back and forth about joining. I did my research, watched videos, followed people that were associated with it to see if it was still something I wanted to do. Even if I took a few days and didn’t pay attention to any of it, I always came back to it.

Yes, I will post my link if anyone is interested in learning more. We do have an accountability group on Facebook that is gearing us up for 80 Day Obsession. You will receive quality feedback, inspirations, recipes, struggles from other members and coaches.

I will never pressure anyone to join or buy. My only advice is that everyone that is interested in Beachbody to do your own research. I’ve read and watched negative and positive reviews, even after signing up. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that shares both sides of the spectrum. Every product or program is different for everyone as I will not bash one company over the other. What works for me may not work for you.

If I make money, great. It’s not the top of my priority list. My top priority is toning up, losing weight, and helping others do the same. I’ve already got my mom and sister eating healthier and working out. My mom does a program through work and my sister has access to my Beachbody on Demand if she chooses to exercise.

21 Day Fix Extreme Results

It’s that time again. This is my review of 21 Day Fix Extreme. These results are not typical and will vary from person to person. It’s all about the effort you put into it with workouts and nutrition.

This time around I also didn’t have soda and cookies every day like the last round. I got containers for Christmas and have been using them ever since, especially for fruit, vegetables, and carbs.

I will also admit this was a killer. Some of the exercises I could do with no problem and others I could barely stand or walk afterward since it forced my body into positions it hasn’t seen before. I think when I do this again the next time, I’ll alternate between both programs to switch it up and keep my body guessing. I also did this program to push myself as I know when you take can’t out of the equation, you can do anything. I also upped my weights from traditional 3-5lbs to 5-14 since I only have 1-10lb weight.

Below are my results from this round and I will compare pictures from the beginning to now.

Overall, I’m surprised how many inches I lost this time around compared to the last time and happy that the weight is following suit. There were days I wanted to quit because the exercises were getting harder and harder and also didn’t help that on Christmas, I had some type of bug that gave me an unintended rest day. The next day I didn’t want to hit play but knew that I was in the final week and could suck it up a few more days.

Now that I know I can do these exercises, even to the point of cursing at them, I’m moving to A Little Obsessed to get ready for 80-day Obsession.

After 80-Day Obsession, it will be back to 21 Day Fix & Extreme for 2nd rounds until I get to the point I can handle P90X and Insanity.
